Dubai Pavilion at TOKEN2049 Singapore Connects Global Businesses with Dubai’s Digital Economy
Dubai Blockchain Center brought together government, regulatory, financial and industry partners at the Dubai Pavilion during TOKEN2049 Singapore, held on 7–8 October 2026 at Marina Bay Sands. The initiative gave international businesses direct access to the organisations helping shape Dubai’s digital economy and supporting companies seeking to establish a presence in the emirate.

Introduced as TOKEN2049’s first city pavilion, the Dubai Pavilion presented a coordinated view of the opportunities available across Dubai’s business ecosystem. Its presence reflected a practical ambition: to turn international interest in Dubai into meaningful relationships, investment and business expansion.
The participating organisations and delegation included the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Dubai Business Events, Dubai Blockchain Center, the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), Zand, ADI Foundation, Emaar, ALDAR, OMNIYAT and Prima Luxury. Together, they represented the government support, financial services, regulatory expertise, technology infrastructure and real estate capabilities relevant to businesses considering Dubai.
The pavilion offered visitors an opportunity to explore practical questions about entering the market - from company formation and residency to digital asset licensing and banking. Bringing these conversations into one space helped prospective investors and founders connect with relevant organisations during the conference.
Zand’s participation highlighted the growing connection between traditional banking and on-chain finance. The bank used the pavilion to engage with businesses and partners across Asia, positioning Dubai and Singapore as complementary gateways for international business and financial innovation.
Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, CEO of Dubai Blockchain Center and CEO of AI at Dubai DET, joined the delegation. DET highlighted the participation’s alignment with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and its objective of attracting investment, talent and partnerships that support the digital economy.
The engagement is already producing concrete outcomes. Dubai Blockchain Center has secured commitments from several major international companies to establish offices in Dubai, demonstrating how direct engagement with the ecosystem can translate into business expansion.
For DBCC, these commitments are a significant outcome of the Singapore programme. They reinforce the value of bringing Dubai’s institutions and industry partners together around a shared objective: helping global businesses understand the market, build relationships and take their next steps in Dubai.
Dubai Blockchain Center extends its thanks to the participating organisations, the TOKEN2049 team and everyone who contributed to making the pavilion a platform for international collaboration.
